This multi-award winning wine is in a top class starting point for the red wines from Valduero. 100% Tempranillo which is barrel aged in 2 different types of oak for 15 months before a further 12 months bottle ageing. Bright, dark purple in colour with fruit aromas, balsamic spices and hints of cumin, clove and nutmeg. Excellent structure. Tasty and fresh on the palate, it leaves a long finish.
Aged for a mammoth 7 and a half years, over half of which spent in oak. An impressive bright purple red colour. The nose offers up aromas of fig, toffee, leather and cigar box. Intense flavours on the palate, which open up and expand as one continues to enjoy this wine. The tannins are still lively, despite the age and the finish is long and persistent. An extraordinary wine which reaches the mind through the senses.
100% Tempranillo with a limited production of 10,000 bottles. This beautiful wine is only made in exceptional vintages. As the name suggests, aged for 6 years, 3 in oak and 3 in the bottle. Dark, intense purple in colour. Notable aromas of coffee and hints of cedar on the nose. A complete and complex wine, full, rich and lush on the palate. The finish is long and persistent. An elegant, powerful wine.
Another multi-award winning wine. From vineyards aged over 50 years old, this beautiful Reserva is 100% Tempranillo. The wines sees 30 months in 3 different types of oak before a further 18 months of bottle ageing. A striking dark purple colour, with aromas of coffee and tobacco and oak on the nose. On the palate it is rich and full with serious tannins.
Albillo was traditionally used as a blending grape for Ribera wines and Valduero is proud that this unique wine was the first white wine in the world to be made 100% from Albillo. Pale straw colour, due to the absence of oxidation. Fruit aromas with notes of pineapple and grapefruit, typical of Albillo. Well balanced, with a light acidic touch.
Aged in American oak casks for between 24 and 30 months, with a further 36 months ageing in the bottle to gain the Gran Reserva classification. Made from selected wine from only the best vintages, an unmistakable aged Rioja. Balanced sensual taste, with opulent flavours of stewed fruit, vanilla and liquorice. Full bodied with balanced tannins and acidity. Long, persistent finish.
Aged in oak for between 24 and 30 months, with a further 24 month ageing in the bottle. Intense cherry red in colour with a powerful nose of oak and typical Rioja flavours. On the palate it is full bodied with polished tannins and a long persistent finish.
Intense colour, with delicate fresh aromas that maintain the fruitiness and expression of the grape variety and terroir, beautifully blending with ageing notes in harmony and balance. In the mouth it is smooth and elegant – a great all round Rioja.
A classic Rioja. Ruby red in colour with a tawny rim, varietal aromas with an oaky presence. Very fine and well structure in the mouth with good acidity and polished tannins. Very well balanced, with a persistent finish.
Bright and lively with typical fruit aromas of liquorice, violets, stewed fruit and vanilla. On the palate it is pleasant and well structured with balanced tannins. Easy drinking, with pleasant mouth feel and a tasty lasting finish.
